Alison has been entertaining audiences with beautiful harp music for over 20 years, performing at weddings, corporate events, and special occasions. Known for her ability to seamlessly blend classical, popular, and contemporary music, Alison creates an elegant atmosphere tailored to each event, ensuring the perfect ambiance for her clients.
A harpist from the age of eight, Alison's deep love for the instrument led her to study harp and piano privately in her hometown of Washington, DC. She earned a bachelor’s degree in harp performance and psychology, followed by a graduate certificate in music therapy from the University of Miami. While in Miami, Alison performed with the university orchestra, wind ensemble, and numerous chamber groups and orchestras across Miami, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties. It was during this time that she also built a successful music entertainment business, performing at a variety of events as both a soloist and in collaboration with orchestras, chamber groups, and bands.
Now based in Brooklyn, NY, Alison continues to perform regularly for weddings and special events throughout New York City and the surrounding areas. In addition to her musical career, Alison is a licensed clinical social worker and board-certified music therapist, offering a unique blend of artistic and therapeutic expertise to her performances.
